HOW DID IT START?

2015

Papa Ji Food resembles family, love and enjoying gourmet food with your loved ones. In ur household, Papa is the pillar and authoritative figure who loves his food. For him, it is not just a daily meal, but a habitual event to bring everyone together. Passion and love became the foundation of why Papa Ji was established, keeping the heart of the family alive.

2016

Whilst managing multiple global franchises, 3 children and a household, we worked endlessly with food scientists to create the perfect breading and marinade to combine with our own version of fried chicken- a dish iconic and unique to Papa Ji.

2019

At the start of 2019 we operated from differentiating ourselves and creating a buzz for our food. Due to the popularity, we became a mobile kitchen, now known as Papa Ji Food and challenged ourselves by increasing our menu to suit all dietary requirements.

2020

The covid pandemic hit the UK and this forced us to change our Papa Ji Food strategy by joining the online market, becoming a leading take away service in North London and an overnight phenomenon across the UK.

2021

In 2021 with an extensive and mouth-watering menu, Papa Ji Food got the keys to our first restaurant. The start of a new chapter where we can continue offering and experimenting with flavors and invite more people on our journey.

2022

As Papa Ji’s restaurant became more popular and recognized nationally, the opportunity arose for us to offer and distribute bespoke home meal kits. This experience encouraged Papa Ji’s customers to feel included and authentically enjoy their favorite dishes in the comfort of their own homes. With the rapid success of the home meal kits, Papa Ji relentlessly pursued their goals to innovavely scale the business and opened dark kitchens to reach new customers and expose them to the mouth-watering menu they had curated. Although Papa Ji primarily operated from their restaurants, they found creative ways to build excitement by showcasing their food at pop-up stores, events and festivals using the food. The dedication and commitment of the Papa Ji team have invested in ensuring they offer unique food experiences through their flavors have proven to be worthwhile as they are now a household name, and to finish a great year we opened our first franchise in WEMBLEY.

HOW IS IT GOING?

2023

In 2023, Papa ji Food brand has expanded its presence in London with the opening of a new pop-up site at Box park Wembley. This exciting development has been made possible through our collaboration with Spice Shack, a popular restaurant chain in London.

The new pop-up site offers our customers a unique experience, combining our brand’s signature dishes with the flavours. It has become a favourite spot for locals and tourists alike, attracting a diverse range of foodies with its delicious and innovative menu.
